What our international service covers

Operating out of Victoria with direct access to Vancouver Port, Pulsepastro manages LCL and FCL ocean freight, air freight for time-sensitive cargo, and the land bridge moves that connect both. Our international coordinators prepare commercial invoices, packing lists, and CFIA documentation where required. For US-bound shipments, we work with a licensed customs broker at the border point. We serve regular trade lanes to the United States, Asia-Pacific, and the European Union, and can quote spot shipments to most other destinations with 48 hours of lead time.

Services included in international moves

Ocean Freight (LCL & FCL)

Less-than-container-load consolidations and full-container bookings on scheduled sailings from Vancouver. Transit times quoted per lane at booking confirmation.

Air Freight

Next-flight-out and deferred air options for cargo that cannot wait for ocean transit. We book through IATA-accredited forwarders and confirm space before issuing your booking.

Customs Documentation

Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, and HS code classification prepared by our team. Errors in customs documents cause delays; we treat this work with corresponding care.

Marine Cargo Insurance

All-risk marine cover available on every international shipment. Coverage terms and declared-value limits are reviewed with you before the booking is confirmed.

Honest limits on international logistics

Pulsepastro does not hold a customs broker licence and relies on third-party licensed brokers for formal customs entry at foreign ports. Transit times on ocean freight are subject to carrier schedule changes and port congestion that are beyond our control — we flag known risk windows at booking and provide updated ETAs as information becomes available. We do not currently service cargo requiring CITES permits, dual-use export licences, or specialised dangerous goods declarations beyond IATA Packing Group III.

“We export cedar lumber to buyers in Japan twice a year. The CFIA phytosanitary process is genuinely complex, and Pulsepastro's team prepared every document correctly on the first submission both times. That saved us a minimum of two weeks on each shipment.”
